The newly developed X-Balanced Speaker Unit in the XE200 uses a non-circular diaphragm instead of a circular one to achieve higher sound pressure levels. Its non-circular shape maximizes the speaker diaphragm area for punchy bass and reduces driver excursion, resulting in less distortion.

XE200 is waterproof and salt water resistant, so you won’t have any worries when you’re swimming or lounging by the sea. IP67-rated speakers are dust-resistant, so you can use them anywhere, from the beach to the park to the garden.

The XE200 is lightweight and portable, so you can take it anywhere. The wrist strap makes it easy to carry around. To ensure that it can withstand the knocks, bumps and scrapes that come with everyday use, the XE200 has undergone extensive shock testing. The XE200 will continue to work even if you drop it.

The XE200 gives you 16 hours of play when the battery is fully charged, so one charge should be sufficient to last all night. With Sony’s unique Ambient Noise Sensing, you can save battery power even when you’re outside. Quick charging will give you 70 minutes 6 of play on just a 10-minute charge. The Battery Care feature helps you avoid overcharging and will keep your battery in optimum condition for longer. This feature can be turned on through the Sony (Music Center app).

Up to 100 wireless speakers can be connected to Party Connect using Bluetooth® technology and music can be synced so everyone can dance simultaneously. Stereo Pair lets you connect two speakers wirelessly for an epic stereo experience. You can activate both features in the Sony | Music Center app.

Have better meetings and calls with Echo Cancelling. This will allow 2 people to talk at the same time without cutting either of them off. you can mute in an instant with the convenient MIC Mute button, right on the speaker. With Multipoint Connection, two devices can be paired at the same time.
