TempoTec – Variations V6 HiFi Digital Audio Player

TempoTec V6 uses two AKM4493SEQ chips, which are new chips from AKM and are responsible for each channel. It also supports DSD512, MQA 16X full decoding, as well as 32Bit/768kHz.

A high-precision crystal oscillator provides a stable clock source, and a FPGA removes phase noise from the audio processing system in V6.

V6’s analog circuit is more elaborately designed. Tempotec have retained the original transparency and spirituality of AKM DAC with careful adjustment of the four versions of the analog circuit, especially at mid-frequency and high-frequency. We also designed the circuit to achieve cohesion and depth of low frequency in the absence of AKM’s low-frequency (bass) chip.

V6 supports WIFI 5GHz&2.4GHz. Variants V6 are equipped with an Open Android 8.1 operating system from Tempotec. This allows you to download countless media applications from Google Playstore and use them on the V6. Tempotec’s operating system is designed with Android SRC bypass technology, which enables Hi-Resolution audio decoding. Every application you install on the device will take full benefit of its DAC architecture and treat you with amazing sound quality.

The headphone amplifier circuit is composed of 2*OP1612s and 4*OPA1688s. The AKM4493SEQ converts the digital signal into an analog signal, which is then amplification processed by two OPA1612. It is then amplified again by four OPA1688, followed by the first stage of amplification by the AKM4493SEQ. Using two-stage amplified circuits, the headphone amplifier system achieves a powerful output of up to 610MW@32Ω (4.4 BAL PO). Fit all types of headphones easily.

V6 is compatible with a wide range of Bluetooth audio devices through two-way Bluetooth. The V6 is compatible with a variety of Bluetooth HD transmission protocols including LDAC, UAT, AAC, APTXHD, APTX, providing high-quality and lossless music enjoyment.

V6 introduces screencasting. V6 only needs to be put on the same WiFi as the phone with the same APP. Now you can control V6 at a distance using your phone simply by scanning the QR code on the V6, which represents the ID.

V6 has a number of ways to be used, including USB DAC. By connecting it through a USB cable to another audio source device, like a PC, it works as a USB decoder. V6 acts as an audio source when connected to another USB DAC or USB dongle. Its USB port is also a coaxial output port. V6 may sound different when connected to different external DACs that have Coaxial input ports. V6 operates as a pure digital audio source here.
