The CM402 receiver is designed for two standards of 3.5 mm mini jack plugs: CTIA and OMTP. There is a minor difference in older OMTP cable and the newer CTIA: the ground and microphone pins have been swapped, which can cause audio recording problems and if you use incompatible standards. The Ugreen adapter completely solves this problem!
